Photo of the day – X-mas Tree on Lost Lagoon

I shot this photo around this time last year. It had been just as cold and then wham! It dumped a huge amount of snow on us. I walked down the just as the snow had finished and snapped this. It’s actually a composite of a few different exposures. Not HDR but layered and manually worked to get the maximum effect from the glow of the city behind the trees to the exposure of the fog that was washing in around the base of the fountain. It’s not my usual style but what the hell I can gloss it up for X-mas if I want to.
